Valley and Vale Community Arts’ latest Annual Report has been completed and it online for download from their website. It’s bilingual again this year in English and Welsh. We tried a new magazine style this year and have had good feedback about it already.

Language No Barrier!

The eagle eyed amongst you will have already noticed the new facility we’ve added to our website. Utilising the power of Google Translate our new multi-lingual script allows visitors to view our site in different languages! The translations may not be as perfect as a human translator would manage to achieve but, for instance, it’s a massive boost to those of us who live and work in Wales where the prohibitive costs of translation usually puts Welsh language websites out of the reach of many small organisations and charities.

Valley and Vale’s Bilingual Annual Report

We’ve all heaved a sigh of relief here as Valley and Vale Community Arts’ Annual Report finally went to print. This year it’s been a biggie as they received funding to go bilingual and the final report is in both English and Welsh for the first time in many years.

New Year, New Projects

Well a very Happy New Year to you all, clients or not. We at Black Cat HQ are currently battening down the hatches as it’s Annual Report season in the Voluntary Sector (or is that the 3rd Sector?). Anyway, projects move on apace. Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations’ Annual Report was first out to print and Valley and Vale Community Arts’ is next out of the blocks at the end of this month so we’ll post a link to that once it’s online. Wish us luck, we’re heading back in!

After months of blood, sweat and tears we finally launched Valley and Vale Community Arts’ new website this week. There were lots of people at the launch and it went really well.

The site received acclaim from Valley and Vale staff and their customers who were invited to the day-long launch. The social media integration, photo galleries and films particularly impressed.

eShop Tutorial online

Our latest tutorial film is online. This one will help those customers who have the eShop plugin on their websites. You’ll learn how to add new products to your website using the eShop plugin for WordPress. This tutorial will take you through the steps required to create new pages, including images, for each product.
